The Nurse Extern performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Nurse Extern may be cross‑trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on the demands and needs of the unit in which they are assigned.
Completion of 1st semester (Fundamentals) of RN Nursing Program; must be still currently enrolled in program.
