Are you an experienced Emergency Department leader ready to take the next step in a high-acuity, fast-paced, patient-centered environment ?
This Emergency Services Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a large, complex ED within a highly respected acute-care facility that includes multiple emergency departments , advanced trauma services, and strong physician and nursing collaboration.
As the Emergency Services Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in clinical excellence, staff engagement, patient safety, and operational performance , while partnering closely with senior nursing leadership to advance departmental and organizational goals.
???? What You'll Do
* Provide hands-on leadership for daily operations of the Emergency Department
* Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through staffing oversight, workflow optimization, and clinical accountability
* Lead, coach, and develop a large team of ED nurses and support staff
* Monitor quality indicators, patient throughput, and clinical outcomes
* Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams
* Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
* Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
???? Qualifications
* 3+ years of recent ED leadership experience (Manager strongly preferred; high-acuity Charge Nurse experience considered)
* Recent acute-care Emergency Department experience required
* BSN preferred (or actively pursuing with completion within 2 years of hire)
* Active RN license (state or compact)
* Required within 90 days of hire:
* ACLS
* TNCC
* NIH Stroke Scale
* ENPC or PALS
