Equity Or Senior Equity AnalystOur Chicago office is seeking an Equity or Senior Equity Analyst to join our Public Real Estate Securities team. We're looking for a highly analytical, intellectually curious self-starter with strong experience in publicly traded securities and real estate. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and brings both rigor and insight into investment decision-making.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing well-supported investment recommendations for companies within your coverage universeBuilding deep industry expertise across assigned property sectorsConducting detailed company, financial, and valuation analysis of publicly traded real estate companies and broader property marketsRunning, enhancing, and maintaining proprietary screening models and valuation toolsPerforming channel checks by cultivating private market relationships and leveraging alternative data sourcesEvaluating senior management teams through direct meetings and quantitative assessments and presenting this information to the senior portfolio managersWriting and presenting clear, concise research reports for internal and external audiencesQualifications:3-5+ years of relevant experience within public traded real estate securitiesDemonstrates strong, independent decision-making skills, exercising sound judgment in complex and time-sensitive situationsBachelor's degree requiredDegree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related fieldProficiency in Excel and WordExceptional communication skills, including strong writing capabilitiesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlinesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical abilities with a high degree of diligence and accuracyComfortable working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levelsJob Location and TravelThis position is based in our Chicago office.Our teams work in a hybrid environment and in-office days vary by team.We are looking for great candidates who have a unique combination of experiences, traits, and talents.
