Job TitleCoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) company specializing in the design and delivery of solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and high-voltage infrastructure.Consistently ranked as a top-tier EPC, CoVolt Power leverages a mission-driven approach to safety and quality, delivering thousands of megawatts in renewable assets that support a more resilient and sustainable energy future for developers, utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), and data center operators across North America.Responsibilities/DutiesManage equipment budget and cost tracking for projectCoordinate with site Operations, Scheduling and Site Leadership on all equipment needsManage daily allocation and deployment of heavy equipment, tools, and fleet assetsSupervise mechanics, equipment coordinators, yard personnel, and support staffCoordinate equipment scheduling to meet project timelines and operational needs.Monitor equipment utilization rates and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce idle time.Oversee mobilization and demobilization of equipment to and from siteMaintain accurate fleet inventory records including ownership, location, hours, inspections, and maintenance history.Coordinate field repairs with internal mechanics and vendors to minimize downtimeConduct regular inspections and audits of equipment condition and operator practices.Support incident investigations involving equipment or fleet operations.Ensure timely completion of inspections, servicing, and repairs to minimize downtimeCoordinate with the accounting department through Vista Viewpoint to approve outstanding rental invoices and resolve any payment issues.This role may be required to perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned or as necessary to meet the needs of the organization and Equipment DepartmentSkills and AbilitiesKnowledge of heavy construction equipment including: pile drivers, dozers, skid steers, forklifts, and excavatorsStrong leadership and team management skillsEffective communicator with ability to write and speak clearly in a variety of settingsWell-organized and able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesMechanical aptitude and understanding of heavy equipment systemsHighly organized with keen attention to detailProficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solvingAbility to work effectively under stressful conditionsExperience and Skills Needed6-8 years' experience in equipment management with an EPC ContractorExperience managing heavy equipment fleets in civil, commercial, industrial, or infrastructureUnderstanding of OSHA and DOT regulations related to equipment operations.Knowledge of "Vista Viewpoint" or similar ERP software is preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).Field experience in supervising personnel and task delegation.Ability to achieve project goals and timelines.Proven analytical, mathematical and problem-solving capabilities.Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, equipment and inventory management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Important Interview Policy: To ensure a focused conversation and protect the privacy of both our candidates and team members, the use of AI note-takers, recording devices, or real-time transcription software is strictly prohibited during this interview.
