EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - DRIVER
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Service Director or Service Foremen, the Equipment Operator (Driver) performs a variety of semi-skilled work in the maintenance and/or repairs of streets and other public service activities and performs other work as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Performs concrete work on roads and sidewalks.
* Work with tree crew, leaf pickup crew.
* Operate snow plows and snow removal equipment.
* Operator Skid steer with various attachments.
* Perform sewer work (catch basins, storm drains, etc.).
* Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
* Follow policies, rules and regulations relating to the functions of the Department.
* Work in all weather conditions.
* Overtime is Mandatory - including snow removal and other assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
* CDL Class B REQUIRED
* Knowledge and/or experience with Industrial snow plows and snow removal equipment, skid steer and various attachments, air compressor, jackhammer and concrete saws.
* Demonstrated experience in asphalt and concrete work.
* Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds or more.
* Physically able to perform job duties.
* Work in hot and cold temperatures for hours at a time.
Education:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent

* $26.25/hour
