The company's commitment to finding new and better ways to reclaim, recycle, and reuse bridges the sustainability goals of scrap tire generators nationwide with those of local scrap rubber consumers.Job SummaryThis individual will learn various jobs within the tire recycling facility.Duties and ResponsibilitiesComply with all safety requirementsOptimism productionAssist with maintenance and repairs of equipmentLoading of feed hoppersMoving finished product finishedStage and load product for shipmentsDaily housekeeping responsibilitiesMaintain great housekeeping in production area and yardKeep equipment clean and orderly following safety regulationsOther duties as assigned by production supervisorSkills and AbilitiesThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (The maximum lifting weight that employees may lift unassisted is 50 lbs.).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objectsMust be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on a routine basis and (75+) pounds occasionally (assisted only).Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructionsPlease note: all schedules are subject to change based on production demands.
