Equipment Operator/Material Handler
Cummings Electrical is hiring an Equipment Operator/Material Handler for our Integrated Manufacturing facility.
Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.

Responsibilities
* Safe operation of equipment is a must; negligent and/or abusive operation will not be tolerated
* Support with scheduling with vendors
* Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures including safety initiatives
* Promptly report any mechanical or safety problem with the equipment in accordance with company procedures
* Understand the value of teamwork and communications necessary to operate onsite functions
* Perform a daily equipment walk-around inspection
* Loading/Unloading of materials and deliveries
* Participate in Material Inspections
* Usage of power tools to perform routine duties and tasks as necessary
* Perform physical duties (lifting, climbing, cleaning of equipment)
* Work mostly indoors but still be subject to extremes of temperature and weather (i.e. warehouse environment)
* Assist in tasks such as moving or staging materials (conduit, electrical/HVAC equipment) other tasks related to underground electrical installation
Qualifications
* Activities related to shipping and receiving of materials
* 5+ years of relevant equipment experience with proven safety record
* Strong computer literacy
* Knowledge and experience working with different types and sizes of equipment such as scissor lift, boom lift, forklift, and power skates
* Knowledge of KOJO or other WMS
* Experience with Equipment Material Inspections
Not required, but nice to have:
* Experience with operating gantry cranes, forklifts, overhead cranes, or other heavy machinery
