County Waste has animmediate opening for a Baler Operatorto work at our site inAlbany, NY.

Pay Rate: $21-$22 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm

Our priority is to make sure we hire safe equipment operators that care about thesafetyof our team and the service provided to our customers. As a equipment operator with us the minimum responsibilities are:

• Operate and tend the baling machine to compress and bind materials.
• Transport materials to the baling machine.
• Place materials in the compression chamber of the baling machine.
• Transport bales to storage, weigh them, and record the weight.
• Line the compression chamber with appropriate covering before baling.
• Performingroutine inspectionand maintenance on equipment.
• Promotingcontinuous improvementof workplacesafetyand environmental practices.
• Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determinesafe and environmentally sound solutions toserviceissues.

What we need from you:

• 2+ years' experience running equipment
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforcesafety procedures.
