You will complete assigned activities under the direction of the Product Group Manager and sales team. What is the role?Prepare cost estimates for production, fabrication and assembly of Ovivo equipment based on materials and labor using market information, product standards, reference jobs, engineering pre-design and other established guidelines.Review estimates with the sales and engineering to ensure that scope/specifications and estimates are compatible and achievableIdentify potential cost improvements or scope gaps based on proposed equipmentParticipate in procedural update initiatives to sales department documentation to ensure thorough communication to engineering teamsAttend Job Review (kickoff) meetingsPrepare "as sold" final estimates and establish estimated profit marginParticipate in cost reduction or value engineering initiativesMaintain up to date files of material cost, including communicating known or anticipated cost trendsWork with product managers, engineering, buyers and others to develop estimating models, database and automated programs to reduce the time required to generate estimates and improve their accuracy and speed.Performs all work in accordance with established safety proceduresPerform other duties as assignedDoes this sound like you?Knowledge of water and wastewater industry to include marketing, product application, equipment manufacturing, hydraulics and flow controls, construction techniques and biological process.Read and understand fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and process schematicsRead, analyze and interpret complex industry related documentsExcellent communication skills both written and oral to resolve complaints and respond effectively to sensitive inquiriesCapable of making decisions using independent judgement in situation requiring the use of a single variable in standard situationsProficient with MS Office SuitePrioritize work to ensure deadlines are metBachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, Associate degree with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years' experience in cost estimating custom-engineered/fabricated equipment.Don't meet every single requirement?
