Our client is currently seeking an Equipment Engineer in Overland Park, KS
This job will have the following responsibilities:
• Responsible for Engineering and Design support of all equipment for multiple project types.
• Supporting the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics.
• Creating Material Requests.
• Forecast future needs based on project start dates.
• Ensure proper tracking of all components.
• Monitor all equipment expenditures.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment.
• Equipment Procurement & Optimization.
• Oversee equipment receipt and acceptance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Equipment procurement forecasting - Skilled in projecting equipment needs based on project timelines Vendor & Supply Chain Management; - Experience managing relationships with OEMs, distributors and vendors
BOM Management - Ability to review and maintain accurate BOM aligned with site designs and RF requirements
Cross Functional Collaboration - Ability to work closely with RF Engineers, Construction Engineers, and project managers to align build schedules
Attention To Detail & Problem Solving - Sharp focus on order accuracy and resolving delivery or equipment issues quickly
Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
