Explore career opportunities with TSMC Washington and join a company with a commitment to excellence and innovation.An equipment engineer is the doctor of equipments who is in charge of maintenance, warm-up and trouble-shooting for equipments of each module to improve the operation efficiency. An equipment engineer also plans and executes projects of analysis and defect detection.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written proceduresMaintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downsPerform preventative maintenance tasks on equipmentSupport the equipment section with other responsibilities as neededBecome certified on a variety of tool typesWork with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goalsDiagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written proceduresJob Qualifications:BS or MS in Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferredWorking closely with technician team including tool troubleshooting, training, and routine PMPlan and perform preventative maintenance of eqp. with technician teamStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environmentTroubleshoot tool issues of complex electric and mechanical systems to quickly diagnose and repairResponsible for week/weekend for both on-call and on-site overtime if neededPersonal Attributes:Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and geographically dispersed teamsInitiative-driven with adaptable priorities and responsibilities to support business needsTeam player with leadership skills, able to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsGoal-driven with experience in high-performing team culturesQuick to assimilate new technologySkilled in troubleshooting complex problems and addressing root causesPhysical Requirement:Ability to spend majority of shift on feet, both walking and standing, with occasional sittingFrequent coordinated use of handsLift and or carry up to 56 poundsPushing or pulling 66 poundsOccasionally reach, bend forward while standing, or squatEligibility:All applicants must possess legal authorization to work in the United StatesCandidates must successfully pass a background check and a drug screeningWork Location & Schedule:This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location during core business hours, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; however, there may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet project demands.Total Rewards Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $87,000 and $106,764 per year. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $87,000 - $115,580 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC's total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.Benefits:Employees and their families are offered access to comprehensive coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, our wellbeing program, as well as basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
