Equipment Buyer

To support a growing rental fleet, the full-time salaried Equipment Buyer will source and procure new and used power distribution equipment and rental assets, ensuring timely acquisitions that meet operational demands in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Source and purchase new generators, climate control units, and light towers while negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers Monitor the used equipment market, evaluate potential acquisitions, and coordinate pre-purchase inspections Issue purchase orders, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with procurement procedures and regulatory requirements Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred 10+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, particularly with capital equipment and fleet acquisition Working knowledge of mobile power generation and temporary power distribution equipment Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in securing favorable terms on high-value purchases Proficiency in Netsuite ERP or other enterprise asset management software
