Epileptologist

Northwell Health's Department of Neurology - Epilepsy Division is seeking epileptologists to join their multi-disciplinary team across multiple locations in New York, including Manhattan, Nassau County, Staten Island, and Westchester. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within the nation's largest epileptologist program, featuring advanced treatment centers and academic collaboration through the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Successful candidates will provide specialized epilepsy care with no general neurology expectations.

• Department of Neurology - Epilepsy Division
• Opportunities available at Lenox Hill Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, Staten Island University Hospital, and Northern Westchester Hospital
• Program includes hospitals with Level 4 and Level 3 NAEC center accreditations
• Interdisciplinary team consists of specialty-trained epilepsy neurologists and epileptologists, neurosurgeons, nurses and nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers and electroencephalogram (EEG) technicians
• Affiliated with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell

Compensation

• Competitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity

Qualifications

• D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completion of Neurology Residency and Epilepsy Fellowship
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
