Northwell Health's Department of Neurology - Epilepsy Division, the nation's largest epileptologist program, is seeking dedicated Epileptologists to join their multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to expanding neurological services across the Northwell Health System, with positions available in Manhattan, Nassau County, Staten Island, and Westchester. • Northwell Health's Epilepsy program includes two hospitals with Level 4 NAEC center accreditations (North Shore University Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital) and two hospitals with Level 3 NAEC center accreditations (South Shore University Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital).
• The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions.

• The interdisciplinary team consists of specialty-trained epilepsy neurologists and epileptologists, neurosurgeons, nurses and nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers and electroencephalogram (EEG) technicians.
• The Department of Neurology brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to research initiatives.

Compensation

• Competitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.

Requirements

• MD Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completion of Neurology Residency and Epilepsy Fellowship
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology and Epilepsy
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
• Ideally possess the listed qualifications and experience
