Seeking a full-time Epidemiologist - GA Licensed specializing in occupational fatality surveillance, who will support a federal public health program focused on improving worker safety and health, while working in a hybrid remote environment in Atlanta, GA. Key Responsibilities Support surveillance of occupational injuries, illnesses, and fatalities, particularly in the oil and gas extraction industry Conduct epidemiologic analyses, interpret findings, and prepare technical documentation and scientific products Collaborate with federal scientists and external stakeholders to enhance surveillance methodologies and data modernization efforts Required Qualifications Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Epidemiology At least two years of specialized experience in workplace fatality surveillance in oil and gas extraction or related industries Demonstrated experience with occupational fatality or worker safety and health surveillance data Proven ability to conduct epidemiologic research and data analysis independently Experience preparing reports and presentations based on data findings
