Epic Resolute PB Analyst Claims and Remittance

Job Description

IG is seeking an Epic analyst who understands the entire professional billing claims lifecycle, not just application support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Resolute Professional Billing Claims and Remittance, understands how data moves from charge capture through claim generation and payer reimbursement, and can effectively troubleshoot claim failures and remittance issues. Candidates with physician billing, professional billing operations, clearinghouse integrations, electronic claims, or ERA experience will stand out. They need someone who can identify root causes across multiple systems, collaborate with revenue cycle stakeholders, and ensure claims and remittances process accurately and efficiently from end to end.

Skills and Requirements

• Epic Certification (Resolute Professional Billing strongly preferred)
• 3+ years of Epic analyst, healthcare IT, or application support experience
• Strong understanding of professional billing workflows and revenue cycle operations
• Experience supporting paper and electronic claims processing
• Experience with electronic remittance advice (ERA) setup, testing, and optimization
• Knowledge of claim edits, claim error resolution, and reimbursement workflows
• Understanding of upstream and downstream system integrations impacting claims and remittance processing
• Experience with application build, workflow analysis, system configuration, and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
• Epic Resolute Professional Billing Certification
• Professional billing office experience
• Experience with clearinghouses, payer integrations, and claims transmission workflows
• Knowledge of payment posting, denial management, and remittance processes
• Experience supporting systems outside of Epic
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Revenue cycle optimization or implementation experience
