To support the operational and technical needs of a healthcare organization utilizing the Epic platform, the contracted Epic Business Systems Analyst - Patient Access will work remotely for 6+ months, ensuring that business interests are represented in the Information Systems Department while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize Epic applications. Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between operational stakeholders and the Information Systems Department to ensure business needs are effectively represented Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and support ongoing operations of assigned Epic applications Participate in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, testing, and implementation activities to develop effective technology solutions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and five years of IT work experience; OR three years of business analysis experience within a hospital or healthcare organization; OR high school diploma/GED and nine years of IT work experience Epic certification in at least one Patient Access application: Prelude, Cadence, Grand Central, or Referrals Experience working with healthcare information systems and business/operational stakeholders Strong analytical skills and ability to translate operational requirements into effective technology solutions Experience with testing activities, including test planning and execution
