Position Summary We are seeking an Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Analyst to support healthcare organizations in optimizing their hospital billing and revenue cycle operations. This role focuses on Epic Resolute HB build, support, workflow improvements, system enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing operational support.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on Epic HB experience, a strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle processes, and the ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions that improve billing accuracy, reimbursement, and operational efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities Epic Resolute HB Support & Optimization
Support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing applications.
Assist with Epic build, testing, and implementation activities.
Support claims processing, billing workflows, reimbursement initiatives, and workqueue management.
Investigate and resolve application issues while partnering with operational and technical teams.
Participate in optimization efforts focused on improving billing accuracy and revenue cycle performance.
Perform Epic build and configuration activities following established change control processes.
Participate in integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), upgrades, and implementation activities.
Partner with operational and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and support project initiatives.
Support implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Active Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Certification (verification required).
1-3 years of Epic Resolute HB experience .
Experience supporting hospital billing and revenue cycle operations.
Hospital billing workflows
Claims processing
Claim edits
Revenue cycle operations
Accounts receivable processes
Reimbursement workflows

Experience participating in Epic build, support, testing, or optimization activities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within project teams. Ability to travel approximately 25% (typically one week per month, based on client needs).

Additional Epic Revenue Cycle certifications
Experience supporting Epic HB Claims workflows
Experience with reimbursement optimization efforts
Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects
Experience working with Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services (PFS), Revenue Integrity, or Billing Operations teams
Develop expertise in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing functionality and workflows.
Support initiatives that improve billing accuracy and reimbursement performance.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and project teams.
Contribute to successful optimization, upgrade, and implementation efforts.
Help improve key revenue cycle metrics such as claim accuracy, denial prevention, reimbursement performance, and operational efficiency.
