Title - Epic Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics Developer/Analyst Available slots - 2 This consultant will provide end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions in the Epic Cogito Caboodle/Clarity/Clinical applications space (Ambulatory, Inpatient, Outpatient Rehab).
The role requires consultant-level communication skills, the ability to coalesce related requests and offer solutions that satisfy multiple requirements, and Software Development Life Cycle discipline: gathering & documenting and confirming requirements gathering, designing solution, obtaining SME signoff, coding, testing/validation, UAT, & documentation Typical tasks include: • Inpatient and Ambulatory, Outpatient Rehab, ICU, Burn, HIM, ED & Trauma reporting, metrics, and dashboards • Report grouper creation & maintenance • Validate, modify, and document Radar automatic & custom SQL metrics Required skills & abilities include: • Minimum 3 years of Epic Clarity Ambulatory analytics development. • Advanced understanding and usage of - along with the ability to go anywhere in - the Clarity data model • Strong SQL development using best practice industry standards • Efficient creation of queries optimized for best performance Desired skills & abilities include: • 3+ years of Epic Clarity IP analytics development. • Radar development • Caboodle & SlicerDicer development Certifications Required: Epic Clarity Data Model/Clinical and Caboodle Data Model Fundamentals (or legacy equivalents)
