Applications Informaticist (AI)Intellect Resources is seeking an Applications Informaticist (AI) to support and optimize clinical and operational technology systems, including Epic EHR and other key platforms. This role is critical to ensuring systems are efficient, integrated into workflows, and aligned with our mission to deliver high-quality, inclusive care. The Applications Informaticist collaborates across departments to analyze workflows, enhance system performance, and improve the end-user experience.

This highly collaborative role partners with internal teams, vendors, and leadership to drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Analyze workflows and business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend system-driven solutionsAct as a liaison between end users, Technology teams, and vendors to support application performance and enhancementsProvide technical support for Epic and other clinical, operational, and administrative systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolutionConfigure, maintain, and optimize applications to align with clinical and operational workflowsMonitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance with HIPAA and organizational standardsSupport system upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop reports and dashboards to drive insights, decision-making, and performance trackingDeliver end-user training and create clear documentation to promote adoption and best practicesCollaborate cross-functionally to prioritize enhancements and improve the overall user experienceKey Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required5+ years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare IT/HIT environmentStrong understanding of clinical, operational, and revenue cycle workflows, with a focus on optimization5+ years of experience working with Epic or a similar electronic health record systemRevenue cycle experience preferredEpic Ambulatory certification or credentialing requiredDemonstrated ability to map business processes, perform gap analyses, and document, develop, and test system requirementsProven experience leading complex data management and analysis initiatives in cross-functional environmentsExperience with SQL, Crystal Reports, and Tableau preferredStrong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiencesProficiency with healthcare and enterprise applications, including EHR systems and supporting databasesStrong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to identify trends and opportunities for system improvementExperience collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT teamsAdvanced computer proficiency, including familiarity with database systems, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EMR systems preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to build rapport and work effectively across diverse teams
