Epic Resolute Hospital Billing AnalystThe Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Analyst initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies the application, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, vendors, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access. Utilizing knowledge of charging and billing operations, the Resolute Hospital Billing Analyst will lead, coordinate, review, analyze, and maintain Epic systems, including specification gathering, configuration, testing, modification, activation, and ongoing support.Minimum RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.Epic Certifications in one or more Epic applications (required within 90 days of hire)Experience:Familiarity with legal requirements and operational policies related to patient and family privacy practicesEHR Configuration and Build ExperienceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Knowledge of system development methodology and principles of project management.Ability to analyze and solve problems.Technical knowledge and understanding of billing systems.Ability to communicate effectively with staff.Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.License/Certification/Registration:None requiredSupervision Received:Receives minimal supervision from the Manager, Epic Revenue Cycle ApplicationsSupervision Given:NoneResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-usersIdentifying issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve themGuiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic softwareIdentifying and implementing requested changes to the systemServing as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staffMaintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetingsWorking with Epic representatives, your organization's business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timelineDeveloping an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessionsParticipating in training and working with end usersTroubleshooting problems and questionsReviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadershipNon-Essential Functions:Performs related and miscellaneous duties as assigned.About UsWhy Mount Nittany Health?
