Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000/yearly (based on experience)

The Planet Group is currently seeking an Environmental Services Manager for a growing company in the Environmental/Hazardous Waste Management industry. Qualified candidates must have experience in waste management, knowledge of lab packing, characterizing, labeling and profiling as well as experience with RCRA, DOT and OSHA compliance. Job Description:
- Responsible for the collection, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
- This role will supervise and train all Technical Services employees to ensure all scheduled jobs are completed, while maintaining and adhering to established standards for safety and environmental procedures.
- Coordinate with field chemist to go to pharmaceutical, manufacturing, universities facilities, industrial facilities and do the same waste packing.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required); degree in chemistry, engineering, environmental science or other technical field (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in hazardous waste management or environmental services (required)
- Knowledge of lab packing, characterizing, labeling, and profiling.
- Experience with compliance in DOT, RCRA, OSHA.
Position Notes -
Will need to have or get CDL
Will be responsible for 7 direct reports including 6 field chemists and 1 TSDS manager
Some travel will be required
This is primarily an office role but they need to be willing to go into the field
