Seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist for a position based in Charleston, SC. You will support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, soil and environmental media sampling, and compliance-driven studies for a variety of commercial, industrial, and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
- Coordinate and oversee soil sampling and analysis programs.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, owners, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in environmental field sampling and survey techniques within consulting, regulatory, or related settings.
- Demonstrated competency in conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM or equivalent standards.
- Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Advanced degree (Master’s) in a relevant discipline preferred but not required.
- Professional certifications such as EIT, GIT, or related environmental credentials considered an asset.
