Senior Project ManagerKimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Environmental practice in Phoenix, AZ.ResponsibilitiesAttend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projectsLeadership responsibilities include: Operating with integrity and sound business principlesProviding vision, business planning and strategyEstablishing goalsBuilding and maintaining positive client relationshipsHaving open communication with your partners and teamGrowing and leading an Environmental practiceOur Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications8+ years of relevant experience, including state and federal wetland and species permitting requirementsBachelors or Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Botany, Biology, or related fieldEcological field work experiencePossess strong technical writing skills and have experience writing detailed technical reportsWorking knowledge or strong interest in ArcGISEnjoy working in both an office environment and in the fieldInterest in working with planners and designers to avoid and minimize ecological impactsWillingness and flexibility to travel for projects as neededWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
