nAntea USA, Inc. (AnteaGroup) is seeking an Environmental Remediation Engineer Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to be associated with our office in Rancho Cordova, CA.

nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support on environmental remediation and SPCC projects from start to finish, including conducting site investigations, developing remediation plans and feasibility studies, designing remediation systems and approaches, overseeing remediation activities including operation and maintenance of systems, certifying SPCC plans and reporting results to clients and regulatory agencies. Demonstrated success in leading various remedial technologies is required.
nWhere Will I Work?
nThis position will be based out of our office in Rancho Cordova, CA with the flexibility to work remotely as assignments allow. In this hybrid work environment, it is expected that this position report to the office periodically and/or as requested for in-person meetings, mentorship, and leadership and collaboration with other team members. Although minimal, some project work could require local, regional, and/or overnight travel for large project kick-offs or as required for emergency response.
nEssential Functions Include but Are Not Limited to:
nProvide engineering support during site investigations to assess the extent of contamination.
nDevelop remediation plans that meet client and regulatory requirements.
nPrepare feasibility studies on selected remedial technologies.
nOversee remediation activities, including in-situ soil and groundwater treatment, and vapor mitigation.
nDesign remediation systems and other remedial cleanup alternatives.
nReview operation and maintenance data to increase efficiency of existing systems.
nManage project budgets and schedules and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
nInteract with clients, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to ensure that project goals are met.
nPrepare technical reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
nReview and certification of SPCC plans.
nEducation and Training
nBachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
nProfessional Engineering (PE) certification in CA is required.
nCalifornia Professional geologist certification would be a plus.
nMinimum 10 years of experience in environmental remediation projects.
n40-Hour HAZWOPER training is required (and can be provided for the right candidate).
nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety certification a plus.
nQualifications
nAbility to coach and mentor EITs and inexperienced engineers.
nStrong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to environmental remediation.
nExperience with site investigations, remediation design and implementation of remedial technologies.
nExperience with SPCC Plans.
nExcellent communication and project management skills.
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
nCompliance with any client requirements

nPhysical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:
nSedentary to light work (typical office or administrative work).
nFrequently required to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
nOccasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects.
nRepetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching).
nSubject to environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change).
nOperation of a motor vehicle.
nAdditionally, if you are completing client meetings or client project site visits you will need to complete a medical surveillance/fitness-for-duty examination and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
nMedium to heavy work.
nSubject to outside environmental conditions: heat/cold, wind, wet and/or humid, etc.
nOccasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward) and climbing.
nFrequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate and possibly heavy weight objects.
nSubject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling.
nMay be required to wear an air purifying respirator.
nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
nThe annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
