We are seeking a skilled EH&S Manager with 4+ years of post‑education experience in environmental health and safety management of commercial/industrial land development projects. The role involves implementing and sustaining Tract’s environmental, health, and safety programs at assigned project sites in Texas, focusing on construction activities and contractor management, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite EHS representative for Tract at designated Texas project sites, championing a zero‑incident culture.
- Implement and monitor compliance with Tract’s EHS Manual and applicable OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
- Review and provide feedback on contractor Site‑Specific Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
- Conduct site inspections and audits on high‑risk activities (earthwork, deep excavations, mobile equipment, cranes/lifting, work at height, electrical, confined space, etc.).
- Track and drive closure of EHS observations, non‑conformances, and corrective actions with contractors and field teams.
- Lead or support incident and near‑miss investigations, perform root‑cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Ensure timely incident reporting and case updates in line with Tract’s procedures.
- Facilitate and support daily/weekly safety meetings (pre‑task plans, toolbox talks, stand‑downs) and communicate lessons learned.
- Support environmental compliance for construction activities (stormwater controls, waste management, spill prevention) and raise issues as necessary.
- Partner with Construction, Engineering, Operations, and the EHS team to identify hazards early and implement controls.
- Deliver or coordinate EHS training for contractors and personnel on hazard recognition and control expectations.
- Contribute EHS data to support reporting and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, health sciences, engineering, construction management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years of progressive environmental, health, and safety experience on construction or civil projects.
- Hands‑on experience implementing EHS programs onsite, conducting field inspections, reviewing JHAs, and supporting incident investigations.
- Knowledge of OSHA construction standards and environmental obligations (stormwater, waste, spill).
- Experience managing contractor EHS performance, including plan reviews, audits, and follow‑up.
- Ability to collaborate with construction managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and EHS staff on fast‑paced projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data‑center or large‑scale industrial infrastructure projects.
- Professional certifications such as CHST, CSP, OHST, COSS, or equivalent.
- Experience with high‑energy hazard management or serious‑injury/fatality prevention programs.

Location
This position is full‑time, on‑site in Texas with occasional travel to our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
Salary
$105,000–$125,000 Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus
