Ford Meter Box is a leader in the waterworks industry and adding an additional Environmental Engineer at its Wabash, Indiana facility.The position has the following responsibilities:Facilitates organizational procedures in accordance with 40 CFR 262.265Leads the design and implementation of air movement systems throughout the facility, including ventilation, makeup air, particulate and fume exhaust, collection, and other air movement requirementsAdministration of environmental permits and requirements, ensuring timely completion of all reportsRecommends, evaluates, and aids in implementation of new equipment and processes to ensure environmental complianceHelping with the design of equipment regarding emissions and environmental safetyServes as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies on issues pertaining to solid and hazardous waste program requirementsIdentifies operational initiatives necessary to ensure environmental complianceA bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and five to seven years of related experience is needed.Located just 75 miles from Indianapolis, Ford Meter Box operates a captive foundry and has facilities in both Indiana and Alabama.
