Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental engineering tasks across multiple infrastructure facilities.
- Prepare environmental engineering drawings, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
- Manage environmental permits, including SPDES, NJPDES, stormwater, wetlands, and waterfront development.
- Review Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for NYSDEC and NJDEP compliance.
- Oversee soil and groundwater remediation, environmental assessments, and contamination investigations.
- Review asbestos and lead abatement documents and contractor submittals.
- Monitor facility operating permits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
- 10+ years of environmental engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of NYSDEC and NJDEP regulations.
- Experience with SWPPP, SPDES permits, soil and groundwater remediation, air quality, and petroleum bulk storage.
- Experience preparing engineering design documents and reviewing construction submittals.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to conduct site inspections.
- PE or PG license in NY or NJ is preferred.
