Environmental Engineer (086-26)

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment.

Location:

• On-Site
• This position is located in Quantico, VA.

Salary:

• A salary range of $100,000 - $114,000 is available for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Assess environmental impacts of logistics and supply chain operations
• Support compliance with applicable environmental regulations and policies
• Develop practical mitigation strategies
• Perform environmental impact assessments
• Review and improve wastewater treatment and waste management practices
• Prepare technical reports, plans and recommendations
• Monitor environmental performance
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives
• Provide technical guidance on environmental best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and consulting partners to ensure environmentally responsible solutions are integrated into projects and operations processes

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in NEPA
• Experience interpreting regulations, advising stakeholders, and supporting implementation of compliant solutions
• Experience evaluating project effects, developing mitigation measures, and prepare clear, data-driven documentation

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Federal Government Contracting process
• Experience working with or supporting government, defense, or large infrastructure projects
• Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
