What You'll Do
As a member of the Facilities team, you will:

• Perform routine custodial and environmental services in assigned campus buildings.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, laboratories, common areas, and other university facilities.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and other approved cleaning methods.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replenish custodial supplies.
• Assist with campus event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, and meeting spaces.
• Safely operate custodial equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with university safety procedures.
• Follow health and safety practices related to Bloodborne Pathogens and workplace sanitation.
• Help maintain an attractive, welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and community partners.
• Perform other related custodial and maintenance duties as assigned.

• Ability to safely read, understand, and follow cleaning product labels and safety warnings.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Physical ability to perform custodial duties, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and carrying equipment and supplies throughout the workday.
