Evaluating and underwriting commercial and personal lines of insurance, the full-time Entry Level Underwriter will work remotely to assess risk characteristics, negotiate terms, and maintain relationships with independent agents while adhering to underwriting guidelines. Key responsibilities Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business submissions in accordance with assigned authority levels Assess risk characteristics to determine pricing and coverage options Negotiate terms and conditions with producers to ensure profitable business outcomes Required qualifications 0-3 years of experience in property and casualty insurance or related coursework/internship experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred Eagerness to learn underwriting principles and coverage forms Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with various technologies Commitment to regular and reliable attendance
