Diverse Staffing is hiring Entry-Level Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a warehouse and distribution facility in Columbus, Indiana. This position offers weekly pay, overtime opportunities, hands-on training, and a temp-to-hire path for dependable employees looking to build warehouse and logistics experience.
Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Training opportunities may be available for qualified candidates.
What You'll Do

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Move inventory to storage and staging locations
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement
• Perform equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards

Must-Have Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift
• Basic reading, counting, and math skills
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous forklift experience
• Experience using RF scanners or inventory systems
• Experience loading and unloading trailers

Work Environment

• Large warehouse and distribution facility
• Fast-paced logistics operation
• Frequent forklift and warehouse equipment traffic
• Continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Moderate warehouse noise levels
• Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on season
• Steel-toe footwear and other PPE may be required
