Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of language/translation projects assigned to the individual.
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand and abide by individual project instructions.
- Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters.
- Establish and maintain relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally.
- Coordinate with quality personnel to ensure translations comply with instructions and are linguistically proper.
- Communicate issues, caveats, or additional information to sales staff promptly.
- Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to, including industry leaders and current events.
- Investigate/resolve client complaints and work with QA/Management to implement systemic changes as needed.
- Perform other special projects or duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience coordinating projects and allocating resources is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
