Production PlannerThe Production Planner supports manufacturing operations by preparing and maintaining detailed production schedules aligned with demand requirements, plant capacity, and material availability within PPG's Aerospace business. You will sit onsite in our Mojave, CA facility. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed production schedules to meet required volumes while considering plant capacity and material availabilityUse MRP functionality within a manufacturing or QA system to support production planning activitiesPerform pack planning and bulk planning based on production requirementsMonitor actual production figures versus planned schedules and identify variancesPrepare and implement schedule adjustments in response to production constraints, material shortages, or demand changesSupport production meetings by providing schedule updates and production dataEnsure planning activities align with quality, safety, and manufacturing standardsMaintain accurate production planning records and reports to support continuous improvement projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldWorking understanding of MRP systems within a manufacturing or QA environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysisInternship, co-op, or coursework related to manufacturing, production planning, or supply chainFamiliarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing environmentsOnly U.S.
