Key Responsibilities
- Install snow plows and salt spreaders on trucks
- Service and repair snow equipment, including plows and salters
- Assist with installation of truck accessories such as lift gates, hydraulic dump inserts, and hitches
- Perform basic wiring for lighting and equipment
- Inspect trailers and complete general mechanical repairs
- Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Support shop operations with various mechanical tasks
- Up to 2 years of mechanical or related experience
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn (automotive experience not required)
- Ability to diagnose, repair, or learn to service plows and salting equipment
- Familiarity with Fisher or Western equipment is a plus
- Basic tool set required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical work in a shop environment
- Experience with wiring or electrical work is a plus, but not required
- Shop setting working on trucks, trailers, and snow equipment
- Hands-on, team-oriented environment
