Entry Level Machinist (Dayton Lamina)

This is primarily a training position that helps you develop the skills needed for becoming a professional machinist.Responsibilities:Ability to perform simple machining tasks while progressing to more advance level machiningUse precise measuring tools to ensure exact specificationsRead and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirementsInspect finished products for quality and adherence to specificationsTroubleshoot and resolve issues with machining tools and equipmentAbility to work overtime when required, including weekendsMaintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all safety procedures and protocolsPerforms other duties as assignedSkills/Qualifications:Moderate math skills, including geometryAccurately perform mathematical calculationsMechanically inclinedAbility to read blueprintsManual dexterity requiredExperience/Education:High School diploma or GEDBackground in a manufacturing environment a plus, but not requiredApplicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
