Plastic Injection Molding OperatorThis position is a temp-to-hire opportunity. No problem!We offer on the job training and plastics is a great place to start!An entry-level plastic injection molding operator operates and monitors machines that produce plastic parts.

Typical duties include:Removing finished parts from the machine or conveyorInspecting parts for defects, such as discoloration, cracks, warping, or incomplete moldingTrimming excess plastic and completing light assemblyPackaging, labeling, and counting finished productsFollowing work instructions and meeting production standardsRecording production and quality informationKeeping the work area clean and organizedFollowing all safety procedures and wearing required PPEReporting machine, quality, or safety concerns to the supervisor or process technicianImportant facts about the position:2nd shiftMonday through Friday3:00 PM – 11:00 PMOvertime as required based on production needsRequirements:High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency, preferred.Be able to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed.The physical demands for this position may include being able to bend and stand for long periods of time 8 to 12 hour intervals; working frequently in close proximity to machinery, noise levels are moderate.Acceptable completion of a background check.
