Entry-Level Animal Laboratory Technician – Research Lab

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking an Animal Laboratory Technician I to support animal care and facility sanitation. The role focuses on maintaining colonies, assisting with routine health checks, and providing supervised training toward AALAS certification at the Assistant Laboratory Technician level.

Under close supervision, responsibilities include feeding and monitoring animals, recording observations, and safely handling animals using PPE.
