Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!What you get to do:Support park-wide and event Theming needs with the fabrication, installation/strike and maintenance/repair of signage and graphicsComplete requests for signage, scenic, and other graphic design elements from all areas of the parks, including Culinary, Merchandise, Operations, Zoo/Education, Entertainment, etc.Develop and follow style guides, color elevations, and DNA sheets as a brand stewardRender drawings, sketches, illustrations or models of design concepts and present for approvalTranslate creative concepts into renderings and designs and provide instruction for fabricationAssist with material inventory processMaintain cleanliness of work areas and vehiclesPerform other duties as assignedWhat it takes to succeed:Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite e with an emphasis on vector based designs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)Associates Degree with a focus in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to climb a ladder and work at heights between 6 and 65 feetAbility to stand, bend or kneel for long periods of timeAbility to bend, reach, twist and turn with complete flexibilityAbility to lift, push and pull 50 poundsComfortability working in theater and outdoor environments (dark/nighttime conditions, in/around water, in varying weather conditions)Comfortability working around animalsComfortability with exposure to noise and vibrationsComfortable working under deadline situations with changing prioritiesAbility to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to train on and properly use protective gearComfortability working around fumes/dust/odorAvailability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, as well as event rehearsal shiftsMust be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsPossession of a valid state driver's license requiredThe perks of the position:Paid Time OffComplimentary Park Tickets and PassesPark Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Retirement planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance PlanEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
