Enterprise Architect IIIClient is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect III to lead the modernization of its Enterprise Data Management and Data Warehouse platform. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of enterprise architecture and solution design experience, with expertise in data management, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
Experience developing technology roadmaps and working with executive stakeholders is essential, while prior State or Local Government experience is preferred. This is a 12-month hybrid contract based in Austin, TX.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and architect TxDOT's next-generation Enterprise Data Management platform.Lead development of the organization's Data Management Strategy.Define execution approach for strategic data initiatives.Develop customer engagement strategy for the Data Management organization.Assist in defining organizational structure for Data Management.Create execution plans, implementation roadmaps, and cost estimates.Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and platforms.Support digital transformation, cloud enablement, and decision science initiatives.Identify project risks and bottlenecks while balancing business and technical requirements.Collaborate with business stakeholders and executive leadership to obtain buy-in.Drive cross-functional communication, collaboration, and governance.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience - Requirement10+ years - Enterprise Data Management Architecture10+ years - Solution Architecture & Solution Development10+ years - Designing and implementing enterprise solutions using emerging technologiesPreferred
