Enterprise Applications EngineerLocation: Hackensack, NJSalary: 130k-180kJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Developer to join our team. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying software applications. You will collaborate with a team of developers and IT professionals to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy software applications using various programming languages and frameworksScheduling month-end maintenance such as: Windows updates, SQL maintenance, query optimization, and security patchingInter-department coordination during system upgrades; assessing and communicating risk factors of upcoming upgrades, primarily when integrated systems cause a "trickle-down" effectCoordinate with application stakeholders and IT team to prioritize and address issues and future objectives for financial systems.Responsible for testing financial system applications during system changes, enhancements, upgrades, and monthly system maintenanceDocumentation of system setup, integrations, backup, and disaster recovery processesCommunicates and informs the department and management of project statuses, issues, and proposed resolutions.Manage vendor support ticketsTrack and optimize system performance and storage utilization, plan for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growthResearch and evaluate new tools/technologies to improve the current application stackUtilize tools to protect application source code and maintain versioning.Any additional responsibilities as required by managementOther responsibilities include:Compulaw administration, maintenance and integrationsBasic 'end user' application troubleshooting and maintenance such as: FasTax, B&A Forms, Allstate legal forms, LexisNexis etc.Support requests/tickets escalated from the helpdesk teamDocumentation of processes/procedures, 'how-to' guides, and frequently asked question resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutionsWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable codeTroubleshoot and debug software applications to identify and resolve issuesConduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standardsStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trendsParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deploymentQualifications:3+ years' experience operating with legal accounting and time management software required, experience with Elite 3E preferredFluency in the Elite 3E SQL database schema preferred or demonstrated ability to develop such fluencyExperience with maintaining 3E Templates ("Design Gallery"), Workspace and BizTalkBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience as an Application Developer or similar roleStrong knowledge of operating systems and IT infrastructureProficiency in.NET framework and other programming languages such as C# or JavaExperience with system design and architectureFamiliarity with vulnerability management, DNS, and systems engineeringKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AzureExperience with Pegasystems or other business process management tools is a plusSkills:Operating systemsIT infrastructure.NET frameworkSystem designVulnerability managementDNSSystems engineeringAzureRAT (Remote Access Trojan)PegasystemsWe offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
