Remote Full Time General

Kontent.ai is redefining what enterprise content management can do in the AI era. Our Agentic CMS helps global organizations create, govern, optimize, and deliver content at scale — giving business and technical teams the control, speed, and confidence they need to manage complex digital experiences.

Leading brands including WebMD Ignite, Elanco, Zurich Insurance, Cadbury, and the University of Oxford use Kontent.ai to modernize content operations, improve governance, and accelerate time to market.

We are hiring a US-based Enterprise Account Director to lead new business growth across strategic enterprise accounts. This is a senior individual contributor role for a proven enterprise SaaS seller who can create and close complex opportunities, build trusted executive relationships, and represent Kontent.ai credibly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

About the role

  • Own new business sales across the United States, with priority on strategic enterprise accounts rather than a narrowly defined geographic territory.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through targeted prospecting, executive networking, inbound demand, partner relationships, and expansion signals from Customer Success.
  • Lead consultative, value-based sales cycles from initial engagement through commercial close, working closely with pre-sales, marketing, partner, customer success, legal, and executive stakeholders.
  • Operate with the autonomy and accountability expected of a senior enterprise sales professional: developing account strategy, engaging senior decision-makers, qualifying rigorously, forecasting accurately, and communicating clearly.
  • Represent Kontent.ai professionally in the US market, including with enterprise buyers, digital agencies, solution partners, analysts, and industry networks.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new ARR targets.
  • Create, qualify, develop, and close enterprise new business opportunities across target US accounts.
  • Run disciplined discovery, qualification, business-case development, solution alignment, negotiation, and close planning.
  • Build cross functional executive-level relationships with customers, including digital, marketing, IT, content, and business leadership stakeholders.
  • Partner with solution engineering to deliver credible, business-outcome-oriented demonstrations and value narratives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and leadership to convert inbound, partner-sourced, and expansion-related signals into qualified pipeline.
  • Work with Kontent.ai solution partners where relevant to identify, shape, and progress enterprise opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal-risk communication.
  • Contribute market insight on buyer needs, competitive activity, partner ecosystem dynamics, and US enterprise demand to sales leadership and the ELT.
  • Represent Kontent.ai at selected industry events, partner engagements, and executive prospect meetings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS.
  • Background in CMS or Composable/DXP/Marketing technologies - you understand the space and its nuances.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a new business or enterprise account executive role.
  • Experience selling complex, multi-stakeholder solutions to enterprise organizations, including executive, business, technical, procurement, and legal stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to create self-sourced pipeline and convert inbound, partner, and customer expansion signals into qualified opportunities.
  • Proven capability in consultative, value-based selling, including discovery, qualification, business-case development, mutual action planning, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the presence and judgment to engage credibly with senior customer and partner stakeholders.
  • High accountability, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a remote, international, and fast-moving environment.
  • US market experience and ability to travel as needed for customer, partner, and company meetings.

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with enterprise content operations, digital transformation, governance, localization, security, compliance, or omnichannel delivery use cases.
  • Experience working with digital agencies, systems integrators, or technology partners in co-sell or referral motions.
  • Experience selling into regulated or complex industries such as healthcare, financial services, retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, or higher education.

That’s why we offer flexible working hours, working from home, and a generous PTO so that you can get in touch with your inner social butterfly.
