Jackson and Coker is seeking an ENT Physician for a long-term locums assignment in an Illinois facility near St. Louis, Missouri, starting November 2026 and extending through December 2027. This opportunity offers consistent, pre-scheduled 2-week coverage blocks, providing predictable scheduling and continuity of work. The role involves rotating through clinic, OR, and call environments, allowing physicians to maintain their case logs.
Practice Info
- Facility is a designated trauma center with 150+ beds.
- Uses Epic EMR.
- Current staff includes 1 full-time ENT, 1 locums ENT, and a PA-C.
- Clinic volume: 16-30 patients/day, with locums seeing an average of 25 PPD.
- Inpatient volume is currently low, with 2-5 emergent surgeries per week.
- Office-based procedures can be performed in the clinic (e.g., scopes, excising small lesions, biopsy laser skin lesions).
Responsibilities
- Provide bread & butter ENT coverage, including sinus & nose surgery cases and plastic skin surgery.
- See some pediatric patients, primarily for tonsils and tubes.
- Perform administrative work on Fridays.
- Provide ED/Community call coverage approximately 10 days each month.

Shift & Schedule

- Clinic (8A-5P) and/or OR Block time (7:30A-3P) each Monday – Thursday.
- Friday’s designated for administrative work.
- Approximately 10 days each month of ED/Community call coverage.
Requirements
- Active Illinois license/CSR OR candidates active with the IMLC.
- Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible.
- Open to candidates who recently finished Residency.
- Comfortable with pediatric ages for cases primarily consistent of tonsils + tubes.
