This position combines writing, content development, communication planning, and project coordination to support recruitment, application completion, financial aid engagement, and matriculation. The Coordinator creates and manages communications across email, SMS, web, print, and other channels, ensuring students receive timely, accessible, and helpful information throughout the enrollment process.As a member of the Marketing & Communications team, this position works collaboratively with Admissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Management, and other campus partners to develop and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging College messaging that supports student enrollment and success while advancing the College's overall mission.Major ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy, Development & WritingEnrollment Communications & Campaign CoordinationCollaboration & Student SuccessTechnology & TrainingRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent, in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.Two years of professional experience in communications, marketing, content development, admissions, enrollment management, or a related area.Demonstrated experience in creative writing, editing, and proofreading professional or student-facing content for multiple communication channels, including print, email, web, and/or social media.Strong written communication skills and the ability to develop clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.Preferred Qualifications:Experience developing effective communications and content for multiple platforms.Experience using CRM, texting, or enrollment communication platforms (e.g., Slate, Ellucian, Salesforce, TargetX, or Mongoose).Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.Knowledge of accessibility standards, plain language, inclusive communication, and digital content best practices.Experience coordinating communication campaigns, managing content calendars, or supporting recruitment initiatives.Bilingual in English and Spanish.

English and other languages will be considered.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise, engaging, and grammatically correct content for diverse audiences.Strong editing and proofreading skills, with careful attention to grammar, tone, clarity, accuracy, and consistency.Ability to translate complex ideas into clear messaging.Ability to manage multiple projects, communication timelines, and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with campus partners.Familiarity with CRM systems, mass communication platforms, and digital content management tools.Commitment to access, equity, and serving diverse student populations, including adult learners and first-generation students.Salary range is: $44,000 - $55,000, commensurate with credentials and relevant experience.
