JOB DESCRIPTION:

English Department Teaching Associate
Teaching Associate position to serve as instructor of record for a section of first‑year composition. Hold regular office hours and attend weekly meetings during the appointment.
Wage/Salary: $3,894 per term ($649 monthly based on 8 hours a week)
Days/Hours: 8 hours per week
Number of Openings: 1-7
Expected Start Date: 08/17/2026
Expected End Date: 12/31/2026
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post‑baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Bachelor’s degree; meet all eligibility requirements per the Student Employment Policies; enrolled in one of the English department’s graduate programs and are in good academic standing.
