EngineernnTimpl has partnered with a global leader in lithium-ion battery manufacturingnand is seeking for Engineer.nnnThe Production Engineer I will support the distribution of resources innaccordance with the production/shipment plan, ensure the safety of thenworkplace, perform production activities by optimizing the process/equipment,nand manage/improve the production related results (e.g., Yield, OverallnEquipment Efficiency (OEE), Quantity, etc.)nnResponsibilities:n• Work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot the machines on thenproduction floor to ensure highest yield and OEEn• Understand quality issues, review non-conformance reports (NCRs), analyzenquality issues and provide corrective actionsn• Improve production processes by creating various SOPs and train operators tonensure understanding and correct implementation to floorn• Check production progress management in accordance with the production plann• Feedback to production management department when problems related tonproduction progress occurn• Inventory management (classification of good products/pending inventory)n• Non-conformance report handling and improvementn• Yield managementn• Conduct internal and customer auditsn• Compliance with health/safety/environmental/fire regulationsn• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:n• Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustainn• Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Containern• Perform other duties as assignednnQualifications:n• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent, relevantnexperiencen nExperience:n• 1-3+ years of experience in a manufacturing production related position ornequivalent, relevant experiencen nSkills:n• Comfortable working independently and with othersn• Results-oriented and perseverantn• Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsn• Project and process management skillsn• Strong attention to detailn• Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improven• Six Sigma knowledgen• Battery production related knowledgen• MS Office Suiten
