Role Description

The Engineering Technical Lead (Plumbing & Hardware) is a full-time, on-site role based in Fall River, MA. This role oversees the technical design, installation, and performance of plumbing and hardware systems for luxury bath and interior products. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing technical drawings, specifying plumbing and pipe requirements, coordinating with production and installation teams, and ensuring systems meet safety, quality, and code standards. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues related to maintenance and repair, providing technical guidance to internal teams and partners, and supporting the development of new products and hardware solutions. The Engineering Technical Lead also collaborates closely with customer-facing teams to address technical inquiries, support custom projects, and ensure a seamless experience for clients and specifiers.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and plumbing codes, with hands-on experience in installation and system design.
  • Experience working with pipe materials, fittings, and assemblies, including specification, layout, and integration with fixtures and hardware.
  • Background in maintenance and repair of plumbing and hardware systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience in general maintenance practices related to building systems, fixtures, and mechanical components.
  • Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and support custom project needs.
  • Relevant technical education or certification in plumbing, mechanical engineering, or a related field; trade licenses or professional certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using tools such as CAD or similar design software is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a workshop and production environment.
  • Experience in luxury residential or hospitality projects, or high-end hardware and fixtures, is advantageous.
