Engineering Project ManagerCED Services is currently looking for experienced Engineering Project Managers to plan and oversee the delivery design specifications for customers using AutoCAD for bid and construction documents for building. As the Engineering Project Manager, you will be directing all design engineers and drafters on specific projects. You must enjoy meeting people and be deeply familiar with drawings, specifications, investigations and technical reports, background in solar is preferred but not required.

Engineering Project Managers will generally work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially during the 4th quarter.Reports to: Engineering ManagerMinimum Qualifications:Ability to use computer equipment, including Microsoft Office, and AutoCADBasic math skillsAbility to sit and work in an office on a computer for entire shiftPreferred Qualifications:NABCEP and/or solar experienceAdditional Competencies:Deliver professional, courteous, friendly, and accurate customer service.Possess a strong entrepreneurial spiritAbility to work within a small groupSelf-motivated to work alone as requiredAbility to create a strong partnership between drafters and our sales team in order to communicate our customers' needs to provide the best service and experience.Working Conditions:Office environment and occasional warehouse environment.Will be working in a sitting or standing position throughout the day, and will be on a dual monitor computer set up the entire shift.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoEssential Job Functions:Perform structural analysis of various building elements and systems comprised of structural steel, masonry, wood, and aluminum for both gravity and lateral loading conditions.Be a part of the review process from schematic design through the completion of construction.Perform QA/QC reviews of project work performed by staff engineers, including but not limited to: drawings, specifications, investigations, and technical reports.Help foster new client contacts and business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.Working directly with clients to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project duration.Monitoring project budgets and track change orders on a case by case basis.Aptitude to read and understand blueprints, construction specifications, and documents required.Ability to organize and utilize large amounts of reference information both in hardcopy and electronic files required.Ability to identify, analyze, and solve technical problems required.This role is a high visibility position requiring exemplary communication and collaborative skills with the project team, staff and clients.Self-motivated and technically proficient.CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | VeteranOther Compensation:The following additional compensation may be applicable for this position:Profit Sharing BenefitsInsurance - Medical, Dental, Vision Care for full-time positionsInsurance - Medical only for part-time positions, 30+ hours/weekDisability InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Paid Sick LeavePaid HolidaysPaid VacationHealth Savings Account (HSA) and matchingDependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)TeledocPaid Pregnancy & New Parent Leave
