Engineering Project Manager - 1The Engineering Project Manager - 1 will both independently manage industrial wastewater projects predominantly in the food and beverage industry as well as part of a team for larger projects.Key Responsibilities for the Engineering Project Manager - 1:Serve as primary client contact for all assigned projects/clients, maintaining positive relationships with clients and upholding the Probst reputationUtilize Probst project management methods to manage schedules, scope, and budgets through all phases of an assigned project, including constructionCoordinate schedules and budgets with subcontractors and equipment suppliersAssign and manage tasks to project team membersUtilize time management software to track and forecast budgets and complete invoicingWork closely with Project Coordinators to maintain project documentation and communicate schedule priorities and deliverablesGather client data for use by engineers in design developmentDraft bid requests and evaluate quotations for contractors and consultantsReview purchase orders for equipment on assigned projectsManage projects with oversight from key stakeholdersSupport and document project risk and issuesOther duties as assignedTravel Expectations: Up to 20% as business needs requireRequirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldStrong written communication skills for reports, instructions, and proposalsStrong verbal communication skills to support frequent client interactionsAbility to work out of the Hartland, WI officeWillingness to travel up to 20% of the timePreferred Experiences for the Engineering Project Manager I:2+ years of experience in industrial construction project managementExperience in construction planning, procurement and subcontract management, scheduling, and construction managementCommissioning and startup supportExperience in working with multi-disciplinary teams
