Engineering Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to oversee gas transmission and distribution construction projects. This role is responsible for managing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, contractor coordination, construction oversight, and project closeout activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, pipeline construction, and budget oversight.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field5+ years of experience managing construction-related projects3+ years of experience working with pipeline construction contractors3+ years of experience managing project budgetsValid Driver's LicenseAbility to travel 30–40% within the state of OhioPreferred QualificationsPMP (Project Management Professional) CertificationKnowledge of gas system design and operations, including gas flow, construction, contracts, and emergency responseUnderstanding of local, state, and federal operating and construction codesExperience with construction scheduling softwareProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management toolsWorking knowledge of operational support systems such as WMSKey ResponsibilitiesManage project scope, schedule, cost, and change management processesCoordinate permitting, engineering services, material procurement, land agreements, and contractor activitiesSupport bid preparation and contractor selection processesMonitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsTrack project budgets, capital expenditures, and forecasted spendingCollaborate with project managers, project specialists, inspectors, and field operations teamsProvide project status updates and communicate progress to stakeholdersEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standardsFoster strong relationships with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and local authoritiesManage invoice approvals and project closeout activitiesSupport engineering, operations, and business teams with project cost estimates and planningAdditional InformationManager is open to candidates willing to relocate to Ohio.Initial assignment is expected to last one year with the possibility of extension.DTI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
